The Doomsday is Approaching Sooner Than We Ever Imagined

It was 2018 when I stumbled upon the fact that made me skip a beat. It was so astonishing and worrying to know that the future fiction we have been reading in novels and imagining in our minds is here already. And we are the same generation we thought would come several thousand years later; we are the final generation who will see the great destruction and the end of the world will occur upon.

Before you think I’m a crazy head, I’d request you to read this article till the end and decide for yourself.

Did Muhammad ﷺ Mention The Timeline of Eschatological Events?

It is evident that there are about 60 years left.

Its a general perception that nobody knows the time of Qayamah [1]Qayamah is the Islamic word for Doomsday / End of the World / Day of Judgement, which is correct[2]They ask you (Muhammad), “When will the Day of Judgment be?” Tell them, “My Lord knows best. But it is unintentionally associated with the signs and events before Qayamah as well, which is incorrect. Nowhere it has been mentioned that He did not give the knowledge of events before Qyamah to anyone. Instead, Huzaifah bin Yamaan (May Allah be pleased with him) says:

By Allah, I have the best knowledge amongst people about every turmoil which is going to appear in the period intervening me and the Last Hour…

Sahih Muslim 2891 [3]Sahih Muslim 2891

And in the other narration, Huzaifah (RA) says:

I swear by Allah, I do not know whether my companions have forgotten or have pretended to forgot. I swear by Allah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not omit a leader of a wrong belief (fitnah)–up to the end of the world–whose followers reach the number of three hundred and upwards but he mentioned to us his name, his father’s name and the name of his tribe.

Sunan Abi Dawud 4243 [4]Sunan Abi Dawud 4243

Upon exploring authentic narrations from Muhammad ﷺ, we realize that events of the future have been mentioned according to a tangible timeline. It’s however been an under-explored matter for the entire lifespan of Ummah.

Let’s explore with authentic references how it has been proven that this generation is the last generation to live on earth.

The Age of Muslim Ummah is NOT More Than 1500 Lunar Years

As mentioned, the narrations of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ provide a complete picture of the End Times. Nabi Muhammad ﷺ told a timeline of events that how and when the world will come to its end. My conclusion that we are the final generation on earth[5]▶️We are the Final Generation of People is based on those narrations, and not on any personal assumptions or perceptions. Secondly, the geo-political scenario of the world and recent happenings around the globe further clarify the fact that the Minor Signs of Qayamah [6]Qayamah is the Islamic word for Doomsday / End of the World / Day of Judgement are complete already and its time for Major Signs.

Let’s have a look at this important narration where Nabi Muhammad ﷺ has certainly mentioned the age of this Ummah:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I hope my Ummah will not fail to maintain their position in the sight of their Lord if He delays them half a day. Sa’d was asked: How long is half a day? He said: It is five hundred years.

GradeSahih (Al-Albani) / Sunan Abi Dawud 4350 [7]Sunan Abi Dawud 4350

It’s important to to note that above narration is graded as ‘Sahih’ [8]What is a Sahih Hadith

Above Hadith has been explained by the agreed-upon scholar of Hadith, Allama Suyooti as follows:

This Ummah will not cross five hundred years after the thousand years after the passing away of the Final Messenger Muhammadﷺ. Some people issued a fatwa on the appearance of the Mahdi, the emergence of the antichrist, the coming back of Jesus, and other signs of the resurrection in the tenth century. But Suyooti refuted them and has been firm about the 1500 years of age of Ummah.

After the above explanation from Allama Suyooti, there’s no space for the writer to express his opinion.

At the time of this writing we are living in 1443 Hijri [10]Hijri is the Islamic Lunar Calendar. So it is evident that there are about 60 years left for the age of Muslim Ummah. Please note that the End of Muslims is not the end of the world. The world will still go on for an uncertain period of time, and only the worst of the worst will be left on earth[11]The Doomsday Will Occur When Only Worst People Are Left and those will be the people upon whom the Trumpet will be blown and the doomsday will occur.

Its been proven that this generation is the last generation to live on earth.

It is now clear from authentic narrations that the current Hijri century[12]Hijri is the Islamic Lunar Calendar is the final stage of Muslim Ummah, we can easily conclude the upcoming major signs and locate ourselves in the timeline of eschatological events. In the upcoming writings, we will map a timeline of recent and future events in order to prepare of the Judgement Day and to be aware of the world that’s coming forth, InshaAllah.
