It has been proven in the light of authentic narrations (Hadith) of Final Messenger Muhammad ﷺ, that the current Islamic Lunar century (Hijri century) is actually the last century of the Muslim Ummah. In this regard, while the blessed Hadiths indicate that the age of the Muslim Ummah will not exceed 1500 Hijri years, it is also established that the minor signs contained in the authentic Hadiths have reached completion and the major signs have also reached completion.
Before we look at the minor signs individually, it is important to understand the categorisation of the signs of doomsday.
The Final Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace be upon him), has described the events, trials and tribulations that will take place before the end of the world. There is no categorisation of those signs in the blessed Hadiths though. Scholars of Islamic Eschatology have divided these incidents and signs into two parts. If we go in further detail, we can categorise them in three categories.
1. Minor Signs
The minor signs are the big and small incidents, accidents and trials that happen in the world, but there is nothing against the laws of nature. For example, wars, epidemics, coming and going of governments, the rise and fall of nations, floods, earthquakes, rains, massacres, and similar events that keep happening in the world. Among the signs of the Resurrection, such events are considered minor signs. It’s not necessary that the event would be small as well, it can have a huge or small impact. For example, the massacre of Muslims by the Mongols, the decline of the great empires of Muslims, etc. Minor signs are numerous, below we will discuss these signs in detail.
2. Major Signs
Major signs are the events, incidents or trials that will have an impact on the entire human population. These events are the ones that have not occurred since the beginning of mankind. Their occurrence will also contain a beyond-physics or supernatural aspect. Among the Major Signs, we can include the four most important ones:
- Appearance of Imam Mahdi
- The emergence of the antichrist
- The promised Messiah means the coming of jesus.
- The invasion of Gog Magog
It should be noted that in the blessed hadiths, the order of the major signs has also been mentioned, and it is proven that they occur in the above order. So the wickedness of any claimant or propagandist cannot hide the truth. Be very clear that the above signs are yet to appear in the above order.
Each of the Major Signs requires detail, so it is intended to provide several detailed essays on each soon. This article is intended for minor signs.
3. Signs of occurrence
After the major signs appear, the door of repentance will be closed, in other words, events of the day of judgment will begin to take place. These signs are as follows:
- Rising of the sun from west
- Daba Al-Arz (Beast of the Earth)
- Demolition of Kaaba Allah
- A fire coming out of Aden in Yemen
A detailed look at minor symptoms
The completion of minor signs is so obvious that even a child can understand that. Below we will try to create a detailed database of minor symptoms and try to find out whether the following symptoms have been completed or not.

| 5 | There will be a lot of killings | Sahih (Authentic)[5] Sahih Bukhari #1036 | Completed No place in the world is safe from murder. Often the killer does not know why he is killing and the killed does not know why he is being killed. |
| 6 | There will be such abundance of wealth that it will pop out. | Sahih (Authentic)[6] Sahih Bukhari #1036 | Completed Today we have so much wealth and comfort that even the kings of earlier times could not have imagined. Final part of this sign is included in the major signs, which means that when imam mahdi rules, there will be an abundance of wealth. The coming of Imam Mahdi is one the Major Signs, whose time has come. |
| 7 | Pilgrimage of Mecca will cease | Sahih (Authentic)[7] Sahih Bukhari #1593 | Completed Hajj-e-Baitullah (Pilgrimage of Mecca) has ceased many times in the recent past. In the days of Corona, mecca was completely deserted. A part of this sign will appear after the Major Signs. When all the muslims will die, after that Hajj Baitullah will be completely over. |
| 8 | Wine/Alcohol consumption will be in abundance | Sahih (Authentic)[8] Sahih Bukhari #6808 | Completed Alcohol consumption has become a norm in this time. Even in Muslim majority countries, it has become commonplace. |
| 9 | Adultery will be widespread | Sahih (Authentic)[9] Sahih Bukhari #6808 | Completed Adultery and promiscuity have become common. So much so that in most parts of the world its not even considered a bad practice. May Allah save us all from such sins. |
| 10 | There will be more women than men | Sahih (Authentic)[10] Sahih Bukhari #6808 | Completed According to the census, the female population of the world has crossed men's for past several decades. The second part of this hadith i.e. one man being responsible for fifty women is a part of Major Signs. This will happen after the conquest of India and the Armageddon, and both these wars will be fought in the presence of Imam Mahdi. |

It has occurred in many places in the west and in the east as well. This part of this sign will occur after the Mahdi takes oath. An army will be sent to kill him, and Allah will make them sink into the earth at the valley of Baidah near Madinah. |
| 21 | The worst and stupidest people will become the most successful and respected | Sahih (Authentic)[21] Tirmizi #2209 | Completed In the past, achieving respect and authority was not an easy task. Only the most wise, brave, and accomplished people could achieve the kingdom and public respect. But with the advent of democratic system, the worst people of every nation have become honorable whereas honorable people are disgraced and humuiliated. Also, thanks to the capitalist system, rulers have become bankrupt and worthless. |
